About Us

Hype, Demand, and LegacyⓇ is what we create. We’re an agency driven by having a deep understanding of sub-cultures that go on to shape behaviours.

We believe culture comes first and it’s at the heart of everything we do. An agency built to launch, position, and transform businesses in a fast-paced, demanding, and people-powered world.

We work on the belief of valuegraphics, over stereotypical demographics. Truly delving into the wants of humans influenced by culture, data, and insights.

Our network spans across the globe from tastemakers, brands, creators, celebrities, and the people you just need to know to make what seems like an unachievable ambition happen.

Why this Role Exists

The Cultural Marketing Lead exists to help The Fitting Room stay ahead of culture, not simply react to it.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, insight, creativity and commercial thinking. You will help identify emerging behaviours, audience shifts, cultural movements and opportunities that can shape better work for our clients and stronger thinking across the agency.

You will turn observations into action. Not just spotting what is happening, but helping teams understand why it matters and what to do next.

Working across strategy, client services, creative, social and leadership teams, you will help ensure our work is culturally intelligent, commercially relevant and grounded in genuine audience understanding.

Key responsibilities

Cultural intelligence and insight

You will lead and support cultural intelligence across the agency by:

  • Monitoring emerging cultural trends, behaviours, communities and conversations.
  • Identifying shifts across entertainment, sport, hospitality, technology, creators, social media and wider culture.
  • Building regular insight reports, cultural updates and thought pieces for internal teams and clients.
  • Turning observations into strategic recommendations and actionable opportunities.
  • Helping teams distinguish between short-term trends and long-term behavioural change.
  • Bringing audience understanding into campaign development and strategic planning.
  • Supporting the agency's reputation as a leading voice on culture and communications.

Strategy and campaign development

You will support teams by:

  • Contributing cultural insight into campaign planning and creative development.
  • Helping shape strategic territories and campaign platforms.
  • Supporting the development of audience-first thinking across client work.
  • Identifying relevant cultural tensions, opportunities and conversation spaces.
  • Stress-testing ideas to ensure they feel authentic, relevant and distinctive.
  • Collaborating with strategy, creative and client teams to strengthen work before it reaches clients.

Client support

You will work directly with clients by:

  • Presenting insights, observations and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Supporting workshops, strategy sessions and client consultations.
  • Helping clients understand the connection between culture, audience behaviour and commercial outcomes.
  • Acting as a trusted source of perspective and foresight.
  • Building confidence and credibility through clear thinking and evidence-based recommendations.

New business and growth

You will contribute to agency growth by:

  • Supporting pitches and new business opportunities with cultural insight and opportunity mapping.
  • Identifying emerging sectors, audiences and areas of opportunity.
  • Helping strengthen strategic recommendations during pitch development.
  • Contributing to future service development and agency proposition building.

Team contribution and ways of working

As part of the team, you will be expected to:

  • Communicate clearly and proactively.
  • Share observations, ideas and opportunities with the wider agency.
  • Take ownership of projects and deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively across strategy, creative, social, PR and client services teams.
  • Bring curiosity and intellectual rigour into discussions.
  • Be comfortable challenging assumptions and contributing alternative perspectives.
  • Stay organised and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Help create a culture of learning, curiosity and continuous improvement.
