The sweet spot for nostalgia sits in Pop Culture. Iconic TV shows are a large part of this.

The Brief

To create a social first strategy for NOW that gave people a reason to follow

NOW had struggled to establish their voice on social media, being the ‘younger sibling’ of Sky.

Looking to increase their social impact, NOW engaged TFR to develop a culture and social-first approach with a toolkit including a new tone of voice and creators strategy.

The Solution

We created a strategy that focused on the nostalgia of the shows available on NOW: Sex and the City, Catfish, Geordie Shore, and The Office.

This allowed us to create compelling social-first videos in short format.

The NOW name lends itself to the landscape we’re living in now.

The emotion of ‘instant-ness’ that young consumers desire, from the online world like Deliveroo, Netflix and TikTok, is perfectly paired with their hunger for experience, access, and third spaces. We used this sentiment to underpin the strategy for NOW.
